Scavenger Hunt Sunday - Jan30-Feb5

I am back!!! I've been on blogging hiatus for six weeks. I  needed the break. I felt like I was barely making it. With Christmas break, and baking, and cooking, and company, I started feeling overwhelmed. I am so thankful for my time away from blogging. I had more cuddle times with my boys and more time spent with God. Now that I feel emotionally and spiritually refreshed, I am ready to face the blogging world again.

Here's are my Scavenger Hunt items this week:

1. Water
I was out on a rice field the other day for a few moments of "pleasure" photography while my boys were occupied. I saw this lady washing clothes by a pond with murky water. That's all I have to say about that. Hahaha!

2. Quote
"There is no psychiatrist in the world like a puppy licking your face."  ~Ben Williams
This is my hubby with a dog owned by someone we met at a local gas station. Look at the pure pleasure and happiness on his face!

3. Window

4. Activity
Everyday after school, this mom and her daughters go to the market to sell pop in a baggie. Someday I'll take of picture of it.

5. Page 25 of a Magazine
A shot on that page that I copied. I added a Kim Klassen texture in the editing.

Please head on over to Ashley Sisk's blog for more interpretation of the items.

Next week's items are:
1. Shadows
2. Patterns/Repetition
3. Bright White
4. Strong
5. Warmth

Oh Darlene these are great. I loved seeing scenes from your countryside but that photo of your hubby with the little dog made me laugh.

I'm so glad to have found your blog! Your photography is beautiful. My favorite is the woman by the pond. The photo inspired by the magazine is really lovely too.

All of these photos inspire me. Your first shot is just warm and inviting but your window shot is so very creative. I really liked your set chica!
