Scavenger Hunt Sunday - April 17th-23rd

HAPPY EASTER SUNDAY!!! Ever since I was a little girl, I've always been excited about Easter. Growing up, we were always in church for Easter Cantatas. With my little fam now, we do Easter egg hunt. Today (for the 2nd year), we will be doing Easter egg hunt at a nearby park with all our Student Center kids. We will have picnic lunch there, too. I hope no dogs will eat our eggs like that one last year. Hahaha!

What I'm most excited about is celebrating our risen Savior. It is the foundation of our faith. Risen Savior equals VICTORY over death, over my sinful self.

Here are my photos this week:

1. Reflection
This is my first time EVER to edit my landscape shot into black and white. I'm pretty happy with the result. :) I pass by this pond on my runs/walks.

2. Guess What This Is...
Can you guess what leaf is this?

3. What's Inside
What's inside should be white art paint but someone dipped a brush with red paint in it. Now it's pink. I added a Kim Klassen texture to the edit.

4. Play Time
Took my boys to the railroad tracks half a mile behind our place last Monday to play.

After the shot above, I gave my middle son my camera to take pictures. And below is one of his shots! This was only his second time to take pictures with my dslr. He's an artist and I think he's going to be a very good photographer someday! He already has the rule of thirds down. He's only 6 years old. [that's me with my littlest boy, by the way]

5. Lawn & Garden
What is SHS this week without Easter eggs from me? Hahaha! The kids dried their eggs on my garden bricks.
