Scavenger Hunt Sunday - May 1st-7th

First, HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY to all moms reading this. Mother's Day is coming to a close where I am. No special dinner or lunch. No special outing (it's been raining cats and dogs here today!!!). Just a piece of very yummy chocolate cake from my honey, hugs and kisses from my boys, and cards from the two oldest ones. I'm content. I thank the Lord for seeing it fit for me to give birth to two boys and be an adoptive mother to one more. I'm privileged!

Full-packed week I had this week! We were at a Christian Family Camp but I didn't have teaching and music responsibility so I was able to enjoy the fellowship and be a photographer (just for fun) for once. Lack of sleep but boy! My heart is full of joy for how the Lord has been working in the hearts of our young people. I am blessed!

Here are my Scavenger Hunt items. I usually have one B&W photo each week but none this week. Instead, just very colorful shots of my time at the beach.

I only added my watermark. Right-after-the rain look of this red hibiscus in my garden.

2. Sprouting
Beans sprouting. Fried green mussels that I ate this week at the beach with lotsa bean sprouts. Yum!

3. Isn't It Ironic?
Really??? Seriously??? Umbrella while floating on the water at the beach??? I am proud to say I am not like that guy, I have a really nice even tan right now. LOL!

4. Lazy
I tried to shoot another photo for this prompt but just couldn't top the cuteness of this one. This is an archive from January 2010 of my son on another of our family beach trip.

5. Smells Like Spring
Oh the smell of plumeria flowers! I am obsessed with them. I have 8 growing trees in my garden, in pots for now. Hope to have 20 of them in ground someday on my own property. The lotion smells just like the flowers, too! I even got to match one of the flowers in the picture with the flowers on the lotion tube. And the flowers are real.

I have been trying to catch the right after rain look but it always seems to be as I am running to do this or that and I can't stop to do it. Great shots!
