Scavenger Hunt - October 10th-16th

This week was really, really hard for me to find the time to gather up my items. I was in two ministry camps (one that I helped planned and organized). This is the first week that I still had items I haven't taken a picture of by Sunday noon. Here's what I got:

Side Lighting

This was my last photo taken and very last-minute. Oh well... it was good practice for me. I've never used this technique before.

Jack O' Lantern
Where I live we don't have pumpkins like the ones they carve in the US. And definitely no jack-o-lanterns. This muffin was from a bakery that a friend bought for my little boys.
Faces formed in Nature
This was one of the two items that I really struggled to find this week. I almost gave up and planned to just put a blank space for this. The "eyes" and the "mouth" are holes on the road shoulder.
Sunset
I am so blessed to live where we have gorgeous sunsets pretty much all year round. BUT... this week we had none because we've had rain. In fact, it rained non-stop for 4 days in a row that so many areas in our town are flooded and the water continues to rise as I type this. People are loosing livestock, belongings, crops, and their livelihood. This sunset photo was taken back in April. I am quite obsessed with sunset photos and I had a hard time picking which one to use from my archive.
