Without further adieu, here are my items for this week's Scavenger Hunt.
1. The 5 Senses
My middle son wrote this after my older son said this about Nyquil. It reads, "Tastes like balloon." What's special about this is that he has dyslexia and just being able to write something that sounds like it is a big accomplishment. Balloon: you SEE the color; you TOUCH the smooth surface, you can SMELL the rubber, you can TASTE the powder that they put inside when you blow it, and you HEAR it pop!
2. Child/Children
There's something magical about a little boy blowing pinwheels.
On a side note: Warning to all parents. DO NOT let your toddler play with these. We found a pinwheel part in his dirty DIAPER when we changed him. It had teeth marks. I am just so thankful to the Lord that he didn't choke.
3. Dining
Today in our church/student center ministry we served pancakes for lunch. So... 17 kids had pancakes for the FIRST TIME in their lives!
4. Night
This is the pub just a few shop doors down from us. I am not so crazy about this shot but oh well...
5. Sky
This week we had a really bad flood in our area. The beautiful sky is reflected on the flood water!

So many meaningful shots here! I understand why you'd be so pleased with the phonetic writing! Yeah! That's so cool too that the children got to eat pancakes for the first time! And, that sky shot is AMAZING!
