Scripture and A Snapshot - Psalm 1:1-3 and Romans 15:13

Two photos on Scripture and Snapshot this week for me. Although I linked up to last week's S&S, I didn't post a blog for it. So... here they are:

This week's S&S submission:
This is a purple Thai lotus. I don't know how many shots I took over the 10 years I lived in this country of the lotus flowers in many different colors. They're all beautiful to me.

This verse gave me great comfort this week as my family and I face a trying situation. Hope you are encouraged as well.
Romans 15:13

Last week's submission:
For this shot, I put my husband's sunglasses in front of the lens as "filter," thus, the blue tint. And I added more blue to the editing to have a "cool" feeling to the shot. It was taken at about 2PM with the sun high up and about 95ºF temperature.

This is one of my favorite verses, especially to remind myself to really walk in the paths of Truth.
Psalm 1:1-3

I'm loving the filter on the second shot - very cool. And the first scripture is wonderful. Love the message.
