Isaiah 60:1 - Scripture and A Snapshot

One tradition at our home is... we put our Christmas tree and decorations up the day after Thanksgiving. We live in a country that has NO idea about the American Thanksgiving and not much idea about Christmas, other than Santa Clause, but that has not kept us from keeping our family tradition. This year is the very first time in thirteen years of marriage that my hubby is not home with us for Thanksgiving and for this tradition. He is half-way around the around for a funeral but said that he'd like to come home this week to Christmas trees and lights. So, my three little boys and I got to work!

I love the festive feel and look that Christmas decorations bring.  I love the fact that I get to celebrate Christmas with my little fam. I love my Lord for the privilege of sharing His love with the people who don't know Him and the reason for His Son coming to earth. We bring His light to our little town in this corner of the world.

so wonderful. I do the same thing decorate the day after thanksgiving. God is awesome. and to deck the halls for Him is such a joy. Both in side our hearts and out.
