Tough week. Crazy week. But I made it to today's posting! Yay for me! And I look forward to being on the beach this week - digging my toes in the sand and laying by the pool, watching my kids scream their hearts out in pure delight.
Without further palabras, here are my SHS finds.
1. Hot! Hot! Hot!
My friend orders this SPICY Thai papaya salad every week. She gets it with TEN peppers!!! I order mine with... one! Ha!
2. Finding Form
Lights in a Chinese noodle restaurant. This is also my submission for "Exploring With Camera." I think the form of the lanterns became more pronounced because of the lights inside and the horizontal and vertical lines that contrast the sphere shape, plus... the way the lanterns are placed, you can see a 3-D effect. :)
3. Front Page of the News
This was on the front page news and on TV. National elections in Thailand are coming up. You can find this poster all over Bangkok with different animals on it. It is a campaign to boycott the elections, calling all politicians "animals." This is translated as... "Do not release the animals to the House of Representatives." :-O
A couple of the teens in our church helping after Sunday's lunch.
Today, Sunday, this is my accessory. :-)
And here is my Scripture and Snapshot for this week.
1 Peter 2:9. This is one of my favorite verses. God brings us out of darkness... not because we are good; not because we deserve it... but because he CHOSE to love us and claim us as His own. We were from darkness. Now we are basking in His marvelous light.
I took this shot last week of my little boy playing in the rain. LOVE how the light landed on his hands just perfectly.
